This week marks two years since Lighthouse Relief was founded on the Northern shores of Lesvos. It is truly humbling to look back on how much our project has been able to accomplish over the past 24 months: from mobilising skilled emergency response and landing teams along the rocky Korakas coastline, to successfully completing our environmental cleanup programme in Lesvos, to establishing thriving psychosocial programmes for women, children and youth in Ritsona camp. But while we celebrate our achievements, we also acknowledge the many challenges that lie ahead. More than 60,000 people remain stranded in Greece, and thousands more continue to arrive on the Greek islands on a monthly basis. Now, perhaps more than ever, we need your support.
